The Story Behind Munnic

Every brand has a story. Munnic was not created in a boardroom or from a business plan. It was born from the struggles, sacrifices, and dreams of one woman—my mother.

I am Chandan Singh, the Founder of Munnic. The biggest inspiration behind this company is my mother, Munni Devi.

The Beginning of Her Journey

When my mother was very young, she lost her father due to illness while her family was living in Sonepur, Bihar. His passing changed everything. From a young age, she had to face financial hardships and family responsibilities. Life was never easy, but she never gave up.

She learned to fight every challenge with courage, determination, and hard work. Those difficult years shaped the strength that would later inspire the creation of Munnic.

Moving to Muzaffarpur

In the year 2000, hoping to build a better future, she moved to Muzaffarpur, Bihar with almost nothing. She worked wherever she could and did whatever was necessary to support the family.

There were days when she even carried coal and took on physically demanding work just to earn enough to keep the family going. No work was too small if it helped her children move toward a better future.

For nearly twelve years, she continued working hard without complaining. Every day brought new challenges, but giving up was never an option.

A Small Shop with a Big Dream

Then, in 2013, she decided to take a bold step. With just ₹6,000, she opened a small cosmetics shop.

Starting a business as a woman wasn't easy. Many people laughed at her. Some criticized her simply because she was running a shop herself.

But instead of listening to the negativity, she focused on her work. Her goal was simple—to give her children a good education, strong values, and a better life than she had.

Slowly, her hard work began to pay off. Customers trusted her honesty, dedication, and kindness. The small cosmetics shop gradually became a symbol of hope for our family.

My Journey

Watching my mother's struggles, sacrifices, and determination became the biggest lesson of my life. Her journey inspired me to dream bigger and work harder every single day.

I completed my matriculation in 2015, intermediate in 2017, and graduated in Engineering in 2021. Like many young Indians, I dreamed of becoming an officer in the Indian Armed Forces.

To achieve that dream, I appeared for several government examinations and attended 19 SSB interviews. I gave everything I had, worked tirelessly, and remained committed to my goal.

However, success never came. After repeated failures, I returned home feeling disappointed, uncertain, and questioning my future.

A New Direction in Life

At one of the lowest points in my life, I had the opportunity to meet Premnanad Ji Maharaj. His guidance completely changed the way I looked at life.

Later, I attended Vipassana Meditation, where I learned self-awareness, discipline, patience, and inner clarity. That experience transformed my mindset.

I realized that success is not defined only by getting a job. True success comes from creating opportunities and making a positive impact on other people's lives.

The Beginning of Munnic

On 10th August, I shared a business idea with my childhood friend, Bittu. We discussed how we could build something meaningful that would help entrepreneurs and local businesses grow.

Soon after, I shared the same idea with my mother and convinced her that we should begin this journey together. She believed in me, just as she always had.

Now we had one important question:

What should we call our company?

For two days, I kept thinking about a unique and meaningful name. Many ideas came to my mind, but none of them truly felt right.

Then one simple thought changed everything.

My mother's name is Munni.

My name is Chandan.

I wanted the company to carry both my identity and the identity of the woman who made every dream of mine possible. I wanted her sacrifices to become a permanent part of our journey.

The name was simple, unique, easy to remember, and meaningful. More importantly, it carried my mother's legacy.

That is why Munnic is much more than just a business name. It is a tribute to a mother's sacrifice, strength, courage, and unconditional love.

Our Journey Begins

We started our journey in e-commerce, helping small businesses, local communities, and entrepreneurs sell their products online.

During this journey, we learned that many talented business owners had great products but lacked the knowledge, branding, and digital presence required to grow.

That realization inspired us to think beyond e-commerce. We wanted to become more than a platform—we wanted to become a trusted partner for entrepreneurs.

Today, Munnic has grown far beyond its original vision. We help entrepreneurs transform ideas into successful businesses through professional business consulting, branding, digital marketing, website development, and e-commerce solutions.

Today, thousands of people know the name Munnic. For them, it is a company.

For me, it is much more than that.

It is a reminder of the woman who sacrificed her comfort, worked tirelessly without expecting anything in return, and never stopped believing in her children.

Every challenge she faced became the foundation upon which Munnic was built. Every lesson she taught continues to guide every decision we make.
